In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, focus on key business development initiatives, and play an integral part in expanding our client’s regional presence across Sheffield and surrounding areas. About the Role: As a Business Development Executive, you will support the wider Business Development initiatives of the organisation in creating and executing strategic business development & marketing plans regionally. You’ll work collaboratively with senior stakeholders internally and various teams to identify opportunities, enhance client engagement, and deliver high-quality marketing collateral and events. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior stakeholders and internal marketing/BD teams to create engaging marketing materials, including capability statements and promotional content. Coordinate and compile content for internal newsletters and support with the directory submissions & award entries. Conduct competitor and client analysis to generate actionable insights for business development. Manage and attend a range of corporate events, networking functions and seminars, from planning and logistics to post-event evaluation, ensuring smooth execution and high ROI. Support in developing and maintaining an annual events calendar, manage invitations and maximising attendance. Help identify and develop new business opportunities by staying informed about market trends and client needs. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in business development, marketing, or event coordination. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders. 18 months business development, marketing, event management experience. Ideally exposure to working within professional services environment Preferably degree educated Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent written and verbal communication skills Commercially aware, proactive, and creative in identifying new business opportunities.
