CGRC’s Truancy and Delinquency Prevention Program advocates for appropriate educational services and support within the justice system. Our Clinicians identify areas in need of support, connect families with resources, and advocate for them. Program hours vary based on need and availability. Therapy occurs in various locations, including homes, schools, and the community. CGRC collaborates with clients to build support systems and achieve independent success!
If you’re looking for an opportunity to share and expand your competencies using a variety of clinical-based interventions, CGRC’s Truancy and Delinquency Prevention Program may be for you. Clinicians provide intensive, home, school, and community-based therapy to children and adolescents displaying social, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders and their families. The clinician provides a continuum of services, including intensive case management, system advocacy, information/referral, therapy (individual, group, family, and couples), and crisis intervention/stabilization.
Some job responsibilities include:
1. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments utilizing program principles to evaluate client and family dynamics.
2. Provide therapy services to promote exploration and understanding of personal and interpersonal dynamics.
3. Develop effective and timely treatment goals with measurable objectives.
4. Monitor service provision through intensive case management to ensure quality and appropriate services/interventions.
5. Provide information/referral services to clients and families to ensure access to quality services/resources.
