Our team is passionate about holistic wellness and creating a space where clients feel truly cared for. We are now looking to add a skilled massage therapist to our growing team.
Job Summary:
As a massage therapist at Mazu, you’ll provide high-quality therapeutic massages, including specialized techniques to address each client’s unique needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the body’s physiology, excellent client service skills, and a passion for promoting overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform a range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, lymphatic drainage, and relaxation massages.
2. Consult with clients to understand individual needs and preferences for a personalized experience.
3. Maintain a clean and professional environment for every session.
4. Keep updated on the latest wellness techniques and industry standards.
5. Ensure high standards of professionalism, ethics, and hygiene.
Qualifications:
1. Certification from a recognized massage therapy school.
2. Valid license to practice massage therapy.
3. Skilled in a variety of techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and lymphatic drainage.
4. Experience with specialized areas, such as pregnancy massage, is a plus.
5. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Skills and Attributes:
1. Compassionate and client-focused, with excellent communication and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
2. Physical stamina and technique to safely perform multiple massages.
3. Punctual, dependable, and highly professional.
Availability:
We are seeking candidates for both part-time and full-time roles. Please indicate your availability, including specific days and hours, in your application. We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 7pm.
