You will be an experienced leader with exceptional attention to detail and a hands-on approach.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAccounting & Reporting\n\nOversee cost accounting and bank reconciliation\n\nEnsure all balance sheets are fully reconciled\n\nIssue financial statements and manage month-end close processes\n\nDevelop and produce monthly management accounts within 14 days of month-end\n\nFinancial Analysis & Controls\n\nDevelop and maintain performance measurements\n\nDesign and review financial policies and internal control systems\n\nEnsure accurate and timely VAT returns\n\nPrepare audit information and support compliance\n\nStrategic Planning & Leadership\n\nParticipate in strategic financial planning\n\nLead and develop the finance team\n\nOversee accounts receivable, payable, and billings\n\nManage payroll on Sage and ensure smooth pension scheme administration\n\nBudgeting & Forecasting\n\nDevelop budget targets and financial plans\n\nMonitor and update forecasts to support accurate financial decision-making\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nACCA, CIMA qualification, or equivalent\n\nPeople management and leadership experience\n\nStrong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines\n\nWorking knowledge of payroll and pension schemes\n\nExperience in legal compliance and financial risk management\n\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nProficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Sage\n\nA hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented approach\n\nThe ideal candidate will bring honesty, integrity, reliability, and excellent communication skills, ensuring the finance function supports the wider business effectively.\n\nReady to take the next step in your career?
