The Role:
This role focuses on managing existing accounts within the aerospace manufacturing sector, working with key customers across our supply chain and establishing strong, lasting relationships. 1. Oversee and manage client order books, ensuring timely updates in both client portals and internal systems.
2. Review delivery data to proactively identify potential issues and address them before they impact the customer.
3. Partner with production and operations teams to ensure that customer requirements are fully met.
4. Maintain open lines of communication with clients, conducting regular account reviews and addressing any delivery or performance concerns promptly.
5. Negotiate order adjustments as needed to align with client needs.
6. Participate in client meetings and progress calls, serving as the face of the company and a trusted partner to the customers.
7. Act as the first point of contact for client concerns, escalating issues when necessary to maintain strong relationships.
About you:
1. Proven track record in account management, ideally within the aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
2. Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
3. Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Process-driven individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse data for effective decision-making.
5. Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities; a “Can-Do” attitude is essential.
6. Comfortable with occasional travel around the UK and Europe.
Benefits:
1. Circa £50,000, dependent on experience.
2. 07:30 - 16:00, Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 - 12:30 on Fridays.
3. Company pension scheme.
4. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
5. Health care cash plan.
6. Cycle-to-Work scheme.
7. Enhanced family-friendly benefits.
8. Death-in-service benefit.
9. Free onsite parking.
