Job Title: Estimator
Salary: Up to £70,000 (Depending on Experience) + Discretionary Bonus

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Bid Team, supporting a range of projects including planned, repair, and maintenance contracts. The role covers services such as electrical, mechanical, building refurbishment, and Net Zero Carbon works. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive tenders, developing cost plans, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit tenders, including pricing via schedules of rates for public sector projects, as well as traditional pricing methods
• Track tender opportunities and collaborate with the Group Bid Manager to compile winning proposals within tight deadlines
• Create budgets, cost plans, analytical estimates, and value engineering options
• Conduct site visits to assess specific risks and ensure accurate costings
• Appraise tender documents and manage subcontractor inquiries and quotations
• Attend strategy and opportunity meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Address technical queries and collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate cost estimations
• Develop Contractors' Proposals with the Business Development and Design Teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chains
Candidate Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of contracts, including traditional, partnering, and local authority agreements
• Strong understanding of NHF and NSR Schedules of Rates
• Extensive experience within the Social Housing sector
• Demonstrated career loyalty and commitment
