Executive Assistant to Managing Director, Electric Thermal Solutions
Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid working)

Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Executive Assistant, based at the Spirax Group HQ in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire to support the Managing Director of the Electric Thermal Solutions business.
The successful candidate will need to be fully aware of the Managing Director's goals and commercial focus for the business, as setting them up for success to achieve their strategic objectives is a fundamental requirement for the role.
Initiative, pragmatism, problem-solving ability and a "can do" attitude are key to success with the Executive Assistant able to anticipate needs, think critically, offer solutions and act independently where required.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on:
1. Taking full responsibility for the day to day running of the MD's office, pro-actively managing your own and their workloads and diaries.
2. Diary management, acting as the gate-keeper of the MD's time to ensure they remain sufficiently accessible while keeping them on track with their daily objectives.
3. Proactive management of emails, responding where appropriate and within your remit on behalf of the MD and highlighting those which need immediate attention.
4. Organising travel arrangements for the MD and those attending their events as required.
5. In addition, specifically supporting the Head of Health & Safety (currently USA based) with their travel arrangements.
6. Supporting with report preparation, such as quarterly reports, executive committee reports, weekly Health & Safety report and project plans and updates.
Your previous experience is likely to include:
1. Supporting senior leaders within a global organisation.
2. Working within a fast-paced role, with changing priorities.
3. Working within an EA/PA position, preferably within a large, global organisation.
4. Utilising excellent organisational, communication and prioritisation skills to achieve goals.
5. Building positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
