Buying Administrator
Location – Horwich, Bolton (based in Burscough for the first 2 months, whilst working on office relocation)
Hours Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm Friday 9.00 am - 1.00pm
Salary Per Annum £ 27,500 + Bonus
25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
My client are privately owned company and have now been established for over 10 years. They supply luxury products into a variety of retailers so operate on a business to business basis. Due to a period of growth, they are now looking to expand their Buying team.
Role Summary:
* Process purchase orders from factories
* Create product codes and raise purchase orders on Sage
* Product sample management for buying, sales and photography
* Update the product specification spreadsheets with product details, prices, order quantities etc
* Update the critical path and Sage with accurate shipment / delivery dates
* Process invoices and shipping documents from factories
* Manage sea / air freight shipments from China to UK
* Book in deliveries into the warehouse, receive goods in on Sage and deal with delivery discrepancies etc.
* Q.C inspection control in China
* FSC management
* Factory audit management (EUTR, BSCI, SEDEX etc)
Personal Attributes Required:
* Excel experience is essential
* Attention to detail is an absolute essential
* Experience of working in a similar role and with Sage is valuable
* High level of numeracy is required
* Ability to communicate at all levels
* Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
* UK driving licence is essential
