Maintenance Engineer - Gas
Location: Hull Schools - Central, North, and East Hull
Contract: Full time, permanent, 40 hours Monday to Friday

Your new role
What you’ll do:
As a Gas Maintenance Engineer with Robertson Facilities Management, you will work as part of a flexible team with continuing responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high quality property maintenance service to all facilities on site.
1. Take responsibility, alongside the Hard Services Manager and Engineering Team, for ensuring all PPM is programmed and undertaken in line with the contractual/statutory requirements.
2. Take responsibility alongside the Hard Services Manager for contractor management, ensuring all contractors have supplied the required RAMs and they are reviewed prior to commencing work.
3. Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and our clients.
4. Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work
5. Undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
6. To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the Maintenance Manager of any follow up action that may be required.
7. To take part in an on-call rota providing 24-hour, 365-day cover to the facilities.
8. To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services.
What you'll need:
To be successful in your application, you will have:
9. Significant experience in Facilities Maintenance environment or similar
10. Qualified Gas Engineer
11. Experience in Plumbing
12. Experience in HVAC control systems
13. City & Guilds 2079 F Gas & ODS Regulations would be advantageous
14. Experience in Commercial boilers and affiliated plant
15. CCN1 CENWAT CPA1 HTR1
16. Experience of Building Management Control Systems (BMS)
17. Good IT skills and fluency with a range of PC packages
18. IPAF / PASMA certified.
19. Experience in Managing Permit to Work Systems ., Working at Height use of high level and powered access equipment, as well as the use of portable and fixed ladders.
20. Water Management experience of L8.
21. Valid UK Driving License
The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List Check prior to starting in the role.
