About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of learners with Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties? Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive academy in Rugby. The school caters to learners aged 7 to 19, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and emotionally. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact during a crucial educational transition at age 16.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement individualized education plans for learners with Autism and SEMH difficulties.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address diverse learner needs.
4. Provide differentiated instruction to accommodate individual learning styles.
5. Build positive relationships with learners, families, and colleagues to promote holistic education.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience working with learners with Autism and SEMH difficulties.
* Strong understanding of special education practices and strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learner needs.
