Job summary An opportunity has arisen to work at Cambeck Close supporting children & adults with a learning disability. We require 1 full time 37.5 hrs and 1 part time 30 hrs per week support workers who will provide care and support to service users. This role provides an opportunity to develop skills and experience working alongside a dedicated team of professional staff, while also developing your own skills. These roles will also provide support to the Senior Support Workers and will interlink with the Unit Manager, Administrator and other professionals. The role requires shift work days & nights 7 days a week. Main duties of the job You will provide high quality care and support to people accessing the service. They will assist in the delivery of the model of care under the guidance of the Unit Manager, & Senior Support Workers. You will provide support which is therapeutic while also maintaining the persons safety and dignity, this may involve working with those that have challenging behaviour. You will will assist in establishing care plans and in the delivery of care.
