Job Title: Senior Electromagnetic Specialist
Location: Warton
Salary: £54793+ Depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting your team in the delivery of the team objectives in accordance with time, cost and quality
2. Supporting the definition of the Low Observable (LO) elements of vehicle configuration options
3. Participating in the design of the LO elements of vehicle design
4. Supporting the specification, monitoring, and analysis of Radar Cross Section (RCS) tests and Infra Red (IR) tests to support through Life LO activities
5. Carrying out theoretical and analytical RCS computations to support LO Design activities
6. Responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team
7. Responsible for applying relevant engineering and design standards and processes
Your skills and experiences:
1. Degree in a STEM subject (Physics, Mathematics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Modelling) or equivalent experience/product expertise
2. An understanding of the overall systems engineering lifecycle
3. Experience working within a large, complex, multi-project environment
4. Knowledge of and understanding of engineering tools e.g. CAD systems, LO Computational Electromagnetic Modelling
5. Understanding of electromagnetics

As part of this specialist team, you will work alongside experts in electromagnetics, computational methods, and airframe design, applying advanced electromagnetic principles to enhance the stealth capabilities of our aircraft. Collaboration is key, and you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including airframe engineers, systems designers, and key industry partners, ensuring that our platforms meet the highest performance standards.
