Our client is looking for an Administrator to join their busy team and to provide Paraplanning support.
Essential
•Previous Administration experience
•Ideally previous experience working in a financial advisors environment
•Excellent attention to detail
•Highly organised
Responsibilities
•Preparing an up-to-date asset sheet for existing clients in preparation for their meeting with their adviser.
•Gathering data at the start of an appointment.
•Requesting and chasing any outstanding product information that may be needed for the adviser to progress further with their advice i.e. obtain a signed letter of authority from the client to enable us to approach their existing provider, liaise with existing provider in the chasing of the information and once received to update the client’s asset sheet and arrange a further meeting for them with the adviser.
•Booking follow up appointments for new clients.
•Liaising with lenders and solicitors to get updates on mortgages that are in progress to completion.
•Maintaining the adviser’s Activity Sheet. Ensuring business is progressing through the system satisfactorily.
•Producing comparison prints, order illustrations and apply for applications online and by telephone where applicable.
•Producing basic suitability reports
•Completing general office duties which include but are not exclusive: filing; photocopying; scanning and dealing with clients both at front desk and over the telephone.
•Applicants will preferably have financial services experience ideally in all/either investments, life assurance or mortgages
