The ideal candidate should be able to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour to instil confidence in those being filmed.
They should be ready to learn and improve, but also capable of delivering results from day one.
A bit about the job:
The AV Studio Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the studio facility.
With excellent skills in video, audio, and lighting, they will produce high-quality recordings for both internal and external use.
The role involves managing requests to optimize the use of the studio space and time of stakeholders, ensuring the studio is always ready for operation.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Film and edit content from the studio and around the office to a high standard, with a strong understanding of video, audio, and lighting, with the ability to handle a multi-camera setup independently.
* Able to take a project from concept to final product while working closely with stakeholders.
* Manage the studio calendar, understanding broader business priorities, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize the use of the space between film shoots, live streams and other teams (internal or external).
* Develop live event production skills and manage the studio for livestream events alongside the AV team.
* Assist the wider AV/IT team with executive level events and AV support across the Aviva site.
* Can show a showreel and video examples showcasing past work, particularly interviews and panels, with corporate experience being particularly relevant.
This role requires onsite presence in London at least four days per week.
