About the role
In this role, you will lead our International Student Recruitment team, which is part of the wider Plymouth Global Directorate. This includes International Student Recruitment, International Partnerships, Global Opportunities, and Enquiries and Admissions Services.
As a member of the directorate’s Senior Management team, you will play a vital role in leading a highly experienced team from diverse backgrounds around the globe. You will also oversee our talented colleagues in the International Marketing and Agent Management teams.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic professional with excellent leadership abilities and proven experience in developing and implementing successful international recruitment strategies. You should possess strong relationship management skills, experience engaging with senior-level internal and external stakeholders. You will also drive outcomes that align with the university’s financial targets, ensuring the success of international recruitment initiatives.
This role is based in Plymouth but it does require international travel as part of the role.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours a week.
For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can acommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
