Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals in the ophthalmic theatre. As a Clinical Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgery teams and delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Main Responsibilities
* Conduct pre-operative testing and assist during consent appointment processes, including providing critical information to patients prior to cataract procedures.
* Coordinate patient flow on the day of consent appointments and surgery, minimizing waiting times and managing queries effectively.
* Assist surgeons during consent appointments and treatments, taking notes and administering eye drops as required.
