Permanent opportunity for a building surveyor to look after properties across the Northwest. Your new company A large property investor in the Northwest is looking to grow their portfolio over the next 3 years to reach 4000 units. Currently, they look after 1700 properties across the UK. This is a great opportunity for someone to look after their own patch and potentially manage a junior in the next few months. Your new role You will look after a Northwest portfolio of properties. Your role will be to make sure the properties are cared for and maintained to a high standard. As part of this role, you will make sure that the standard is consistent across all properties. This role will require you to get involved in planned and reactive maintenance, management and mobilisation of new schemes. What you'll need to succeed A relevant qualification and industry specific knowledge, especially within housing. This role will require you to drive to sites, therefore a full UK driving licence is required and access to a car. On daily basis, you will be dealing with tenants, therefore great customer services and previous experience managing tenants is desired. What you'll get in return In return, you will receive a competitive salary with £6000 car allowance, 4% pension contribution and BUPA private healthcare. 25 days holiday plus birthday off. The team is based in Manchester. However, the company fully supports flexible working arrangement and you will only need to be in the office 1-2 days a week.
