What You'll Be Doing:
1. Supporting Young People: Provide hands-on care and support tailored to each young person's unique needs, helping them succeed in their care, education, and personal development.
2. Collaborating for Success: Work closely with young people, families, social workers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support is delivered to meet their needs.
3. Safeguarding & Advocacy: Be a trusted advocate for the welfare and safety of young people, ensuring all work follows relevant legislative and procedural guidelines.
4. Planning & Reviewing: Actively participate in care, health, and education planning, working alongside a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for every young person.
5. Promoting Positive Development: Foster a safe, inclusive environment where young people feel supported to grow, learn, and develop both personally and socially.

1. Understanding of Young People's Needs: You know the developmental needs of children and young people and are committed to supporting them emotionally, socially, and educationally.
2. Knowledge of Child Protection: A solid understanding of safeguarding procedures and social care services to ensure the safety of young people at all times.
3. Team Player: You work well with others and can bring sensitivity, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills to the table.
4. Resilience & Motivation: You're able to manage emotional challenges and motivate yourself and others in difficult situations.
5. Commitment to Safeguarding: You're passionate about safeguarding young people and ensuring their welfare is always prioritized.
