Responsibilities
1. Lead the preparation of monthly management reports with insightful analysis and commentary.
2. Develop and enhance the Finance Business Partnering function to better support operational teams.
3. Collaborate closely with client-facing and support functions to provide clear financial insights.
4. Support the Senior Finance Manager in preparing budgets and conducting regular forecast reviews.
5. Assist in the production of financial statements and liaise with auditors during year-end processes.
6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including LLP, SORP, VAT, and Corporation Tax.
7. Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance transaction processing team.
8. Identify opportunities to streamline financial controls and processes.
9. Promote a strong internal control culture and continuous improvement in financial operations.
Requirements
1. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (part-qualified candidates will be considered).
2. Proven experience in producing monthly management accounts and completing month/year-end processes.
3. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
4. Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.
5. Experience in mentoring or coaching team members.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
7. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
8. Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial systems.
9. Awareness of data privacy and compliance standards.
