As an M&E Supervisor working on National Substation Framework contracts, your role will involve supervising site activities and assisting the site manager to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Here are the key details: Responsibilities : Manage and develop the site-based team, ensuring safe and efficient activities. Complete and issue safety documents, risk assessments, and method statements. Performance manage the site team to maintain standards and meet quality requirements. Advise on installation programs to enhance commercial benefits. Coordinate materials according to National Grid policies. Qualifications : SSSTS Site Supervisor Qualification. Authorized as a National Grid Competent Person. Minimum of CSCS/CPCS/ECITB Supervisor Safety Passport/Card. Desirable: City and Guilds/NVQ III qualification in Electrical Engineering, CPCS/NPORS Lift Supervisor, Temporary Works Supervisor, First Aid. Must be able to undertake a DBS check Experience : At least five years in Electricity Transmission or Distribution industries. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
