Your Role and What You'll Be Doing
We're currently recruiting for a talented Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to join our national Private Client Advisory team based from our Sheffield office.
The successful candidate will be joining our Partner Emma McCann’s team, specifically our estate planning division. The team essentially make sure our client’s wealth is protected for them and their families and by structuring assets in a tax-efficient way, we make sure everyone is provided for in the future.
We offer the full range of legal and tax expertise clients need to help plan effectively for their future and we’re experienced in dealing with complex estates, often with international elements.
The role will include but are not limited to the following services: advising on, drafting and executing wills, setting up and administering trusts to manage money, property or investments for specific people or purposes, advising on investments and wealth-holding structures and succession planning for the future so our clients business continues to thrive.
About You
We're looking for a Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive who has a passion for estate planning work and a proven experience working on complex estates or with high-net-worth individuals. Our ideal candidate will have the following:
* 3-5 years of PQE (as a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) with a current practicing certificate.
* Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high value complex cases
* The ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice
* The ability to manage own caseloads whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and seamless service
* The ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients
* Demonstrable technical experience gained within estate planning, specifically across wills, lasting powers of attorney and trusts.
* An aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong client and referrer relationship as well as a drive to continue to aid the growth and development of the wider team
