We are a leading engineering company based in Crewkerne, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Press Brake Setter to join our team. Our company specialises in rolling and forming parts for various industries, and we are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service to our clients. As a Press Brake Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our parts are manufactured to the required tolerances and meet the highest standards of quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Set up CNC press brake machine according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Inspect pieces to ensure they meet the required tolerances and quality standards
- Conduct test runs to ensure the machine is set up correctly and producing accurate parts
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues that may arise during the production process
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the press brake machine to ensure its optimal performance
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all production goals and deadlines are met
- Follow all safety and quality procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
