About the company:
A leading multinational within industry is looking to appoint a Legal Operations Manager. This exciting role reports into the General Counsel. The Legal Operations Manager will collaborate with the broader legal team and senior stakeholders. The business is looking for a Legal Operations Manager to provide support across the legal, legal technology functions, compliance and financial management. The role is based in Reading.
About the role:
* Provide administrative support to senior leadership
* Provide assistance in the implementation of legal operations and initiatives for the global legal team, including assistance on corporate governance.
* Evolving legal procedural and tool solutions to ensure efficiency & effectiveness – including being the first point of contact for the legal tech projects and develop these.
* Assisting with automation of approval flows, templates and contract processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leadership, and stakeholders to identify and prioritise legal tech opportunities that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
* Support in monitoring and controlling the legal budget by using analytics and reporting
About you:
Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience supporting an in-house legal function or a bachelor's degree (ideally in law or with a focus on law related topics).
The position requires strong experience in various areas of business law, in particular strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation. Expertise in managing a variety of complex projects and tasks with focus on efficiency and improvement of legal processes. As well as experience working in a versatile, agile, and dynamic environment and the ability to demonstrate sound critical thinking in prioritisation to ensure delivery of all tasks.
