About the Opportunity :
As a Plumber & Gas Fitter for the Services Team you'll be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to all Water and Sewerage Service facilities, ensuring all work is carried out following the correct procedures to achieve a high standard of product at all times.

Your Responsibilities :
* Responsible for the maintenance and repairs to all sewer lines, water mains, gas mains/tanks, and the water and sewerage treatment plants as required, ensuring timely completion and a high standard of product at all times
* Attend to any urgent repairs of any description required for guest comfort to ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction at all times
* Install new water/sewerage/gas services to and from buildings as required
* Responsible for the maintenance and security of all tools and equipment that are the property of HIE
* Ensure all labour hours, materials and information required for completion of work requisitions are accurately recorded and processed
* Ensure all allocated vehicles are maintained in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition at all times
* Prepare work schedules in accordance with productivity standards and work priorities. Checks timesheets for accuracy and forward to Department Head on a fortnightly basis
* Provide assistance to any other tradesperson as directed
* Perform any additional tasks as requested by the Services Manager
What We’re Looking For :
* Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
* Queensland Trade License – Plumber (or ability to convert to QLD from interstate)
* Queensland open Gas License Type A (or ability to convert to QLD from interstate)
* White Card
* Driver’s License
* Ability to be approved for and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
* Previous experience in tourism or resorts (Desirable)
