Job Purpose:
We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of residential housing developments in Oxford. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will help ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Lucy Developments is a developer of high-end, sustainable homes for sale, with prime sites within a 90-minute commute time from Oxford. The business partners with the very best architects, designers and craftsmen to create bespoke, EPC A- or B-rated homes that embrace innovative design, ecological materials and renewable energy.
Job Context:
The role involves assisting the Site Manager with daily operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, supervising subcontractors and trades to maintain quality and timelines, coordinating materials and logistics, conducting quality control checks, maintaining site documentation, liaising with clients and other stakeholders, and solving on-site problems effectively.
Job Dimensions:
The role will be based on site, and this will be for duration of projects until completion In and around the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire area.
Key Accountabilities:
The will include:
Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations.
Ensure health & safety regulations and company policies are followed at all times.
Supervise subcontractors and trades, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
Help coordinate materials, deliveries, and site logistics.
Conduct quality control checks and address any issues promptly.
Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and suppliers as required.
Support with problem-solving and implementing effective solutions on-site.Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Minimum
Experience in residential construction methodology, planning, programming and management
Embedding a culture of Health and Safety and sustainability awareness and adoption of best practice.
Experience in construction on a new build residential site
Good knowledge and experience in implementing site standards and maintaining control over quality and health and safety on site
Confidence in dealing with contractors, agents and consultants
Experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Experience in a customer focused environmentQualifications:

Manual Handling
Scaffold Awareness
Full UK Driving License
