Graduate Environmental Scientist Bangor £25,000
My client is an independent multi-disciplinary engineering, environmental and project management consultancy with 4 offices located across the UK. They are looking for a Graduate Environmental Scientist to join their team.
Role Responsibilities:
The role will bring with it a varied caseload, combining site and office-based work, and the successful candidate will be trained and mentored towards working independently on a range of environmental and engineering issues. The work will require travel between our regional offices, visits to client sites and occasional travel for consecutive days with overnight stays away from home The role will entail the provision of support to our landfill engineering and civil engineering teams, providing environmental management and compliance advice and services on a range of project types.
Typically, the role will include:
Using specialist equipment to take readings and monitoring environmentally sensitive construction works. The collection of samples for laboratory testing. Data analysis and report preparation to a very high degree of accuracy. Detailed review and checking of reports prepared by others in line with the Company’s Quality Management Systems. Engaging with a wide range of project stakeholders, from clients to regulatory agencies.
