Variable Hours Carshalton College and Merton College are now looking for a bank of variable hours Examination Invigilators to manage the College’s external examinations, in particular at the key points of January and mid-May to end of June. Ensuring the examination venues are arranged in accordance with awarding body regulations, you’ll collect exam materials from the exams office punctually, prior to the start of examinations and manage the entry of candidates into exam venues ensuring their belongings and unauthorised items are appropriately stored. You’ll open and distribute question papers, complete attendance register, whilst identifying students, complete Examinations’ Diary as appropriate and maintain vigilance during the length of the whole examination. With previous experience in examination administration, you’ll be reliable and punctual with the ability to control an examination venue containing up to 400 candidates. Able to work under pressure, you’ll be a team player with excellent communication skills. Closing date for the return of a complete online application is 6th December 2024.
