My client is a used car sales dealership and they are looking for a vibrant, energetic and enthusiastic person to join our used car sales team based in Coventry as a Transaction Manager. This is an exciting and rewarding role in a small family business in the motor trade.
Job description:
Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will be coordinating the daily activities of the Sales Executives
Focusing on enquiry management process, controlling sales deals, second facing where needed
Focus on your ability to sell financial solutions to our customers whilst ensuring FCA compliance at all times.
Experience Required:
The ideal candidate preferably will have experience in car sales but will also need to:
1. Have experience of delivering excellent customer service and be an effective communicator.
2. Be able to understand the customer journey and at the same time balance the needs of the business with an awareness of the need for profitability and performance.
3. Be skilled in the use of IT including Microsoft packages, web based dealer management systems and social media
4. Have a good standard of Math and English with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
5. Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks.
6. Have excellent data entry skills along with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Have a full, clean UK driving license.
Duties include:
This role involves guiding customers through the sales process, from start to finish but you will get involved in all aspects of the dealership, including purchasing, marketing, stock management and administration.
The main duties include:
8. Dealing with customers from the point of enquiry, through the sale, doing handovers and after sales enquires.
9. Assisting customers with applications for finance including arranging finance where required.
10. Preparing cars for sale including arranging any necessary repairs and preparing display materials for the pitch.
11. Checking and maintaining the pitch to ensure that all vehicles are prepared and displayed at the correct standard
12. Advertising the cars on the internet through a variety of channels including our website, Autotrader and social media.
13. Administration including competing order forms, warranty documentation, finance documents etc.
Hours : 5 Days per week, alternate Saturday off with a day off in the week when working Saturdays and EVERY sunday off.
Salary : Dependent on Experience
