About the opportunity This position will involve independent teaching and research in Agricultural/Environmental Economics. Key responsibilities will include unit design, delivery and content management, engaging with students and school staff to ensure a high-quality learning experience. About you To be considered for this opportunity, you will be expected to undertake independent and collaborative research with other staff members and partners, attract grants to fund research from national/international funding agencies, engage with industry, publish high quality papers in leading journals, and supervise honours and graduate students’ research projects. The appointee will also actively contribute to governance and collegial life within the School, Department, and across the University and outside the University. To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate: PhD in Agricultural/Environmental Economics, or relevant discipline. Demonstrated ability to deliver high level of quality teaching at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels across a variety of settings, including in the field. Demonstrated ability to develop a strong research and publication track record. Demonstrable ability of leading public engagement activities that promote research and/or education outcomes, government, and industry.
