Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Early Years education? Humly is seeking a dedicated individual to join a Reception class in a primary school, providing essential support to young learners as they take their first steps in education. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:50 – 15:30 (30-minute lunch break)
Total Weekly Hours: 31 hours 40 minutes
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping children develop key skills in early literacy, numeracy, and communication.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and independence.
* Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning materials, and creative play sessions.
* Support children’s social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and interactions.
* Help with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor play, and transitions between activities.
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience working with young children in an early years, nursery, or primary school setting.
* A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, staff, and parents.
* A passion for early childhood education, with an understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Adaptability, creativity, and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic classroom setting.
