We are seeking an experienced Gas Turbine Control Room Operator for our LM2500, LM6000 or TM2500 units. The operator will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing the performance of gas turbines and associated equipment from the control room. The role requires a deep understanding of gas turbine operations, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly to operational issues.

Responsibilities:
* Monitor and control the operation of LM2500, LM6000, and TM2500 gas turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems from the control room.
* Ensure safe and efficient start-up, shutdown, and operation of gas turbines in compliance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
* Continuously monitor turbine performance data, including temperature, pressure, vibration, and fuel consumption, to identify potential issues and optimize operations.
* Respond quickly to alarms and other operational anomalies, diagnosing issues and taking appropriate corrective actions to maintain optimal performance.
* Coordinate with field operators and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and safe operation of all equipment.
* Maintain detailed logs of operational activities, incidents, and maintenance performed, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
* Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures and emergency response plans.
* Participate in regular training and drills to maintain a high level of readiness and operational proficiency.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and safety regulations.
* Perform routine system checks and inspections to ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters.
* Support planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including shutdowns and startups, by providing operational oversight and technical support.
Required Skills:
* Previous experience with both LM2500, LM6000, or TM2500 gas turbines is highly desirable.
* Experience in emergency response and handling critical situations in a power plant environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
* Experience in implementing and following safety protocols and procedures.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records and reports.
* Strong project management skills.
* Strong oral and written interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Qualifications:
* Technical/University degree or qualifying experience OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Field Services role.
* 5+ years of experience in a field services or power generation equipment maintenance position.
* In-depth knowledge of gas turbine start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond quickly to operational issues.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
* Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) and other control room technologies.
* Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required.
* English proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking).
