Job summary We are looking to recruit to the post of Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join our existing team on AMSS. The post holder will provide authoritative leadership to ensure AMSS continues to provide high quality evidence based care. Candidates must be extremely motivated and committed to providing the highest standard of nursing care. They must be able to demonstrate how they have used their clinical expertise in not only the delivery of nursing care but in their ability to improve the skills and knowledge of junior staff. They must be flexible, assertive, and confident and have the ability to provide expert clinical advice in an acute setting. You must be experienced in nursing patients within the urgent and emergency care setting. It is essential that you have the skills required to assess patients with acute medical complaints and should possess expert knowledge in acute medicine. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will be expected to manage AMSS at Boston and be able to work closely with the Integrated assessment centre (IAC) andEmergency Departments.The candidate will be expected to actively participate in the management of change, particularly in relation to the development of same day emergency care services.
