We're looking for a Part-time Accounts Assistant to join our Rural Division, working within the Client Accounting Team to support our forestry portfolio.

Based at our head office in Trumpington, Cambridge, this part-time role offers flexibility, and we are happy to discuss working hours that suit you.
What you'll be doing:
1. Processing and coding supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and making payments.
2. Managing property and non-property receipts, carrying out banking procedures, and processing transactions.
3. Setting up ledgers, importing/inputting budgets, and maintaining financial records.
4. Assisting with payroll processes, including PAYE, NI remittances, and year-end returns.
5. Preparing and reconciling VAT returns and assisting with VAT inspections.
6. Monitoring rental systems, processing tenant debtor transactions, and preparing fee invoices.
7. Performing monthly bank reconciliations and managing inter-bank transfers.
8. Liaising with Bidwells agents and managers on routine financial matters.
9. Utilising financial software such as Greentree and Propman to ensure accurate reporting.
About You:
1. Previous experience working in an office environment.
2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
3. A clear understanding of confidentiality when handling client accounts.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
6. Experience in a bookkeeping role and an understanding of accounting principles is extremely desirable, however not essential.
