We wish to appoint a Project Officer to work within the Knowledge Exchange (KE) team at the University within the Department of Research and Innovation Services (RIS). The KE team works across all faculties of the University to develop and support collaborative partnerships between academics and external organisations. The partnerships can be through a variety of mechanisms e.g. contract research, consultancy, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) but ultimately provide an interchange of knowledge to address real-world challenges and generate new innovations and impact. You will support the Knowledge Exchange and Business Partnerships team in coordinating activities to help promote partnerships between academic and external organisations. Three main areas of responsibility are: supporting data gathering and reporting on partnership activities linked to institutional reporting on Knowledge Exchange. supporting marketing and communications for the Knowledge Exchange team general administrative support for the KE team including arranging meetings and minute taking. You will be expected to work closely with colleagues across the University to help deliver initiatives associated with the above e.g. central marketing and communication colleagues. There may be a need to undertake very occasional UK travel (e.g. once every 4 months) to visit partner companies for project meetings or to support off-campus events.
