IT Infrastructure Engineering Specialist

Role - Contract
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in implementing technical solutions for customers and colleagues, resolving inter-system issues.
2. Support technology choices, architecture decisions, and delivery of high-performance products.
3. Collaborate with teams to design and develop software solutions for smaller projects, ensuring quality.
4. Assist with project planning, monitoring, and ensuring timely delivery.
5. Communicate with stakeholders to manage actions and impacts on other components.
6. Identify and resolve technical issues and defects.
7. Review work to flag potential issues and maintain systems by fixing software defects.
8. Contribute to delivering technical roadmaps and support engineering excellence initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
1. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
2. Basic command-line skills (Bash, PowerShell).
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Understanding of IP networking, troubleshooting, and IT security management.
5. Awareness of Agile methodologies and microservices architecture.
Desirable:
1. Windows Server, Oracle database knowledge, CISCO accreditation, and basic programming skills (Bash, Perl).
2. Problem-solving skills, ability to support production systems.
3. Familiarity with Linux and scripting.
Security Clearance: Eligible for SC clearance.
