Vision for Education are currently recruiting for an individual with a background in supporting children and young people who display social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD). The school are requiring a teaching assistant to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in a small group. The school are requesting for a positive, patient, resilient individual that wants to make a difference to these children and young people’s lives by. Being adaptable and flexible is essential within this role as you could be working with a range of ages from 11- 18 years. Experience or a Team Teach qualification or equivalent is desirable and would be beneficial however, it is not essential. To become a positive role model and influence on individuals. Using positive reinforcements to engage and promote learning. Confident in working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Able to remain calm when under pressure. Ability to work well in a team and work alongside class teacher to support the needs of the pupils.
