Responsibilities
The International Payroll & Benefits Analyst will support the International Payroll & Benefits team to ensure PJT meets its compliance obligations while delivering pay accurately and on time, in partnership with our payroll agents across EMEA. They will also provide support in overseeing and administering various employee benefits, including medical, dental, retirement savings, disability cover, and life insurance plans across the EMEA region. In addition, they will assist the immigration and mobility manager with various immigration tasks.
Payroll
1. Assist with preparation of monthly payrolls for UK and International locations.
2. Upload monthly pay statements and year-end tax forms in Workday for Spain, Germany, and Hong Kong.
3. Monthly administration of the pension scheme including monthly reconciliation and contribution uploads.
4. Update the monthly HMRC reconciliation for UK payrolls.
5. Respond to mandatory payroll-related government surveys.
6. Support the International Payroll and Benefits team with year-end reporting.
7. Provide third-party tax/financial advisors with relevant tax documents on a monthly basis, via secure portals.
8. Assist with payroll-related employee queries.
9. Assist with ad hoc payroll projects.
Benefits
1. Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
2. Support benefits enrolment process for new employees and process changes for existing employees.
3. Recurring monthly administration of supplementary benefits such as lunch vouchers, childcare vouchers, and transport vouchers, for required locations.
4. Coordinate mandatory health assessments for France and Spain.
5. Reconcile benefits invoices ensuring costs are allocated by employee.
6. Enter benefits invoices into Workday for payment.
7. Respond to ad hoc benefit requests.
8. Organise and maintain benefit folders.
9. Assist with ad hoc benefit projects.
Immigration
1. Update Workday for visa status and reports.
2. SMS (UK) quarterly updates.
3. Right to work checks.
4. First day checks.
Qualifications
PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. In addition, qualified candidates will have:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent or Diploma of Payroll Management.
2. 1-2+ years of Payroll experience.
3. Experience with Workday, preferred.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills including maintaining accurate data and diligently tracking key project metrics.
5. Strong MS Office skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
6. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and process a high volume of work under pressure while maintaining the highest quality.
7. Superb organization skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills; high quality document preparation.
9. Ability to work independently as well as a desire to work in a team environment.
10. Demonstration of a high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
11. Willingness to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions.
