The School and the Role
Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of an inclusive Primary School in Bootle, who are looking to appoint an experienced and pro-active Teaching Assistant to provide support within an SEND Unit where ASD is the primary need of the students. This specialist provision supports key children across EYFS & KS1. As a designated SEND Teaching Assistant you will be responsible to provide support to key children, working full-time Monday to Friday.
You will have access to support and training from school, as well as impressive school resources. In-line with the child's EHCP, you'll play a pivotal role in removing the students' barriers to learning and supporting them to achieve their full potential. You will be working closely with the SENDCo and outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum, so strong communication skills will be essential to the role. This role will be starting in September and will continue through to the next academic year to July 2025.
