Having been established for over 40 years, the group has recently acquired a number of other brokerages, bringing together a collection of reputable brands into the network, and their continued growth means they are now looking for a new Senior Insurance Broker to join their Bury office as part of the wider senior team.

The Role
As a Senior Commercial Insurance Broker, you will be helping to drive the business forward by maintaining an existing portfolio of clients as well as developing new clients. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Working directly with both new and existing clients to provide tailored insurance solutions.
2. Providing complete professional insurance advice to clients across a range of sectors, from SME to mid-size and large corporates.
3. Dealing with the selling, processing and administration of new contracts, renewals and MTA's.
4. Liaising and negotiating with underwriters to identify the most suitable insurance products for your clients.
5. Working closely with Directors to drive profitability within the branch, ensuring all recommendations are aligned to the client's needs.
6. Supporting more junior team members to help develop their knowledge and skills.
7. Handling day-to-day queries and enquiries from both clients and insurers.
8. Providing outstanding customer service, developing lasting relationships.
About You
1. Proven experience in the insurance industry as either a Broker, Account Handler, Account Executive or Account Manager.
2. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills both in person and over the phone.
3. Excellent knowledge of multiple commercial insurance products and services.
4. Working knowledge of insurance software (Acturis or similar) is desirable but not essential.
5. CII qualification is desirable.
6. Ideally managed or supervised a team previously.
7. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
8. Strong PC skills.
