About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a fast-paced, growing business within the retail sector. This role will play a crucial part in shaping financial strategy, supporting key decision-making across multiple revenue streams. You’ll be responsible for financial forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI monitoring to drive business performance and profitability. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will help develop budgets, optimise revenue, and support the transition to enhanced data and reporting systems, including Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that drive commercial success.
* Support the transition to Power BI, improving financial reporting and data analysis capabilities.
* Conduct scenario analysis and financial modelling to assess investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.
* Provide insight-driven decision support to influence business planning and performance management.
* Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Partner with the BI team to enhance data analytics, reporting tools, and performance tracking.
* Work alongside BI analysts to develop predictive models that support business operations and competitive positioning.
What We’re Looking For:
* A finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
* Experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
* A background in finance, analytics, or business intelligence, with knowledge of data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Synapse Analytics, or PySpark.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* A commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
