Our weekly television show is broadcast in over 66 countries, and our social media impressions reach over 130 million people each month. Our events attract top-tier professionals, emerging talent, and passionate amateur players.
With recent expansion into the USA, we are looking to enhance our media presence across the globe and need a creative and dynamic Social Media Editor to join our team.
Role Overview
This role focuses on creating compelling and engaging content that promotes our events, players, and brand across multiple digital platforms. You will be responsible for photographing at events, filming extra content, editing, and scheduling content, as well as managing our social media channels to increase engagement and audience reach.
The role requires someone with a passion for sport, excellent creativity, and a strong understanding of social media trends with the ability to travel for monthly events both in the UK and the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Editing:
- Film, photograph, and edit high-quality video and photo content for use on all social media and digital platforms, including short-form (Instagram Reels, TikTok) and long-form (YouTube).
Social Media Management:
- Manage and update the official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram,
- Twitter, YouTube, TikTok) to drive engagement and promote events.
- Schedule and publish posts in advance, ensuring content is timely and relevant.
Event Coverage:
- Travel to and cover events in the UK and USA, capturing content in real-time during tournaments and behind-the-scenes activities.
- Work with the events team to ensure all media needs are met during live tournaments and exhibitions.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Maintain strong relationships with professional players and ensure their activities are highlighted in relevant content.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proficient in video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Ability to create engaging visual content, including photography, video, and graphics.
