Service Engineer – Intruder and Fire Alarms London & Kent area £40,000 - £46,000 basic DOE Over £50,000 earnings potential company vehicle Location: London and Kent Job Purpose We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join a growing team servicing and maintaining Intruder Alarms and Fire Detection systems across the Kent and London/Greater London area. The role involves providing high-quality service and maintenance for these systems, ensuring safety and functionality for our customers. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in the service and maintenance of Intruder Alarms and Fire Detection systems. The following skills and experience are desirable, with salary dependent on your qualifications: Service and maintenance of Intruder Alarms (both conventional and wireless) Service and maintenance of Fire Detection systems Experience with dual monitoring (e.g., Dual Com systems) Familiarity with all major alarm panel brands and app-based systems Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes of practice (e.g., EN50131, PD6662, BS4737, BS8243) Experience with commissioning and system testing (beneficial but not essential) Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and codes of practice About You You should be a motivated and reliable individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
