Mane Energy are looking for E&I Superintendents for exciting upcoming project in UK Start Date: 2025 Location: UK Duties Support the Construction Manager in overseeing and executing all Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) tasks. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with safety standards. Manage the installation and testing of Electrical, Instrumentation, Communications, Telecoms, and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems. Supervise installation and testing of high-tension (HT), low-tension (LT), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems. Oversee instrumentation certification and installation. Troubleshoot E&I systems and programs as required. Ensure compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and oversee documentation compilation. Coordinate effectively with other building services teams. Ensure all safety and schedule requirements are met. Track labor productivity against budgeted man-hours. Manage Foremen, Chargehands, and on-site crews. Ensure materials and installations meet project specifications. Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure high quality of work. Review work method statements and assist crews in preparing Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRAs). Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Conduct system line checks, field instrument checks, certifications, calibrations, functional tests, loop checks, and other necessary testing. Carry out system walk-downs, line checks, and punch-list reviews. Troubleshoot and resolve punch-list items to ensure closure. Participate in pre-commissioning (Pre-com) and commissioning (COM) activities, including validation of systems. Work closely with the project team and other trades for coordination. Review and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings. Manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and report updates. Handle system walk-downs, punch-listing, and punch closure. Interface and coordinate with Client/Quality Personnel (QP) representatives. Requirements: Background in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) trades. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience. Knowledge of best engineering practices. Proficient in reviewing and commenting on construction drawings. At least 5 years of experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, or Heavy Industrial sectors. Familiarity with Permit to Work and FastTrack project environments. Physically fit and prepared for site work in Oil & Gas or construction settings. Independent, proactive, and able to supervise field activities. Willingness to work extended hours as per site requirements. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
