Customer Service/Claims Handler
Location: Brierley Hill
Salary: GBP22,600 per annum
Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
Type: Temp-Perm
We are currently recruiting for one of our well-established and fast-growing clients in the Oldbury area. The ideal candidate will be friendly, personable, and professional with a customer service background (experience in insurance or claims isn't essential).
About You:
1. You have a 'can do' attitude, flexible approach, and a passion for doing a good job.
2. You are performance-driven and a team player.
3. You possess good organisational and prioritisation skills.
4. You are confident using computers and software systems such as Microsoft.
5. You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The Role:
As a Claims Handler, you will take ownership of cases and support customers following an insurance claim by investigating, negotiating, and settling claims while providing a high standard of customer service.
You’ll Need To:
1. Stay calm and patient when dealing with challenging and emotional situations.
2. Be proactive and able to guide the customer through their claim.
3. Be eager to develop your knowledge in order to make the best decision for the customer.
4. Be a team player and collaborate with other teams, departments, and suppliers.
