VNA Operatives/Goods in Operative
Monday-Friday (some Saturday required and overtime)
Shift: 10:00 or 14:30 to 23:00
Salary: GBP12.50 while training, increasing to GBP13.50 when certified
Overtime paid at GBP15.63 to GBP16.88

Role Overview
The primary purposes of this role are to ensure that inbound goods are correctly received, stored, and that the replenishment of picking locations is completed in an efficient and timely manner.
With your exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed. You will be reporting to the Senior Goods In Operative.
You must have a VNA license for this role. An in-house license is acceptable.
Major Responsibilities
1. Goods In:
* Ensure all deliveries are processed according to warehouse procedures - receiving, logging, and checking stock items delivered.
* Unload deliveries safely and in a timely manner, completing a delivery checklist.
* Double check delivery discrepancies and report to the supervisor for reconciliation.
* Check batches and expiry dates, processing goods accordingly.
1. Storage of stock and non-stock items:
* Transfer stock from Goods In to Bulk storage.
* Ensure the Bulk storage WMS is kept up to date with all stock movements.
* Complete periodic Bulk and picking location checks to ensure stock accuracy.
* Reserve stock and complete a batches report monthly detailing expiry dates of products.
* Consolidate stock to save pallet spaces.
1. Bulk Picking:
* Bulk pick and check for large customer orders (QVC-B2B).
* Bulk picks for in-house kit production fulfilment.
* Immediate replenishment of the pick face to maintain targeted customer order service levels.
* Assist with ad hoc and formal stock takes.
* Conduct daily and weekly checks of MHE (forklifts and pallet trucks).
1. Provide cover for Goods Out:
* Ensure all consignments for dispatch are processed according to warehouse procedures.
* Check retail orders against manual delivery notes.
* Accurately log next day deliveries on the carrier manifest.
* Carry out final reconciliation of shipments at the end of the day.
* Double check consignment discrepancies and report to the Supervisor.
* Ensure goods are only dispatched with the relevant paperwork.
* Load carrier vehicles and obtain signature from the carrier.
1. Regular maintenance and record keeping for the company material handling equipment.
1. Carry out other warehouse duties as required by the Operations Team Leader, including stock takes.
1. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and safe at all times.
