* Work in a recovery-oriented program providing psychosocial support for people experiencing mental health challenges
* Permanent full time opportunity with access to ongoing training and development
* SCHADS Level 3 - paypoint 3 ($77,538 p.a.) + superannuation + salary packaging benefits + annual leave loading
About the role
As our new Recovery Worker, you will be joining a dedicated team to develop person-centred plans and deliver direct, practical support to individuals in our care.
In this role, our participants will benefit from your support in creating their individual recovery plan and from receiving specialised support, centred around their needs and goals. You will encourage them in the development of skills and knowledge as they take steps towards their recovery and assist them in building long term support networks to ensure they are fully supported as they take steps towards their recovery.
About the program
The Psychosocial Support Service (PSS) delivers an integrated psychosocial service intervention with physical health through the established mental health stepped-care model across the north and eastern catchment. The program provides a range of one-to-one and peer facilitated, group based supports, tailored and coordinated to deliver the appropriate level of support for each participant.
These services, in partnership with families and carers (as appropriate), provide a range of non-clinical community-based support to these individuals to achieve their recovery goals.
