Reporting to the UK Transactions Director, this role involves hands-on transaction and asset management across a significant portfolio of assets. It is an autonomous position with oversight of all major Freehold and lease re-gear deals, along with additional Landlord & Tenant events and Asset Management.

Description
1. Advising the UK Transactions Director and colleagues on all ongoing transactions and real estate matters across the portfolio (2,500+ assets: mid to big-box logistics, retail, superstores, depots, and offices).
2. Writing and delivering the asset buyback strategy across the UK.
3. Negotiation, deal brokering, and due diligence across all major transactions in the portfolio.
4. Project managing all third-party consultants, solicitors, agents, and advisors.
5. Ensuring bottom line profit initiatives are delivered in line with set UK strategy.
6. Full professional oversight and delivery of major Landlord & Tenant events, specifically large re-gear deals and Freehold acquisitions.
7. Managing project budgets against annual targets and forecasts.
8. Knowledge and understanding of all upcoming real asset events across the portfolio, extracting, processing, and reporting relevant data to the Senior Leadership Team and colleagues in other teams.
9. Working closely and collaboratively with Finance, Legal, and Audit teams.
Profile
The successful Real Estate Transaction Manager should have:
1. MRICS qualification.
2. A Real Estate / Built Environment Degree.
3. Significant track record in deal brokering with strong negotiation skills.
4. Prior Prop-Co / client-side Property / Real Estate transactions experience.
5. Deep understanding of Landlord & Tenant issues, L&T law, and possessing strong commercial awareness.
6. Valuation and investment appraisal skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure while handling multiple challenges across many assets and locations.
8. Internal and external project/team management skills and ability to consistently prioritise tasks.
