Onboarding Team Leader

A well-established pharmaceutical company is looking for an Onboarding Team Leader to join their team on a 12-month basis. The Supplier Onboarding Team Leader is responsible for oversight of a team of 3 specialists handling the end-to-end Supplier Onboarding Lifecycle and Maintenance of supplier records.
The individual will apply and ensure adherence to our Global Procurement Policy and will be required to review and challenge any new supplier requests if alternative Buying Channels or Preferred Suppliers already exist. Leading and motivating the team, this individual will also be expected to perform routine Supplier Onboarding tasks and approvals.
The role:
* Onboarding new suppliers or updating existing records, and maintaining oversight of the onboarding/amendment request through to completion while providing proactive updates to the business requestor throughout the process.
* The individual will apply and ensure adherence to our Global Procurement Policy and will be required to review and challenge any new supplier requests if alternative Buying Channels or Preferred Suppliers already exist.
* The individual is encouraged to build positive relationships with business partners, team members, and develop a solid understanding of business continuous improvements and undertake initiatives in making the supplier onboarding process future-ready.
* Leading and motivating the team, this individual will also be expected to perform routine Supplier Onboarding tasks and approvals.
Requirements:
* Onboarding experience (3 years)
* Experience maintaining supplier records
* Experience managing a team/leadership experience
