Job Title: Non Dev Infrastructure - Cloud Platform/Migration Engineer
Location: Knutsford (Radbroke)
Contract: Six Months

Role Overview:
This role is key in ensuring the successful migration and transformation of our infrastructure to a cloud-based platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, security, and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions while maintaining risk and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the end-to-end migration of infrastructure systems to a cloud platform.
2. Analyze and document infrastructure requirements to align with business needs and technical strategies.
3. Design and implement secure cloud-based systems, ensuring they meet governance, risk, and control requirements.
4. Collaborate with various teams, including IT, security, and development, to facilitate change and transformation initiatives.
5. Drive innovation through strategic thinking and problem-solving, balancing business and technology requirements.
6. Conduct data modeling and business process re-engineering (BPR) to optimize cloud migration.
7. Provide guidance on IT governance, ensuring compliance with risk and control frameworks.
8. Utilize Scrum or agile methodologies to drive effective project delivery.
9. Perform cost-benefit analysis (CBA) to evaluate technical solutions and provide business value.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in Infrastructure Engineering with a strong focus on Cloud Platform migration.
2. Solid understanding of Security Systems and Risk & Controls in cloud environments.
3. Expertise in Requirements Analysis, Systems Design, and IT Governance.
4. Experience with Scrum or other agile development frameworks.
5. Ability to think strategically and innovate in the face of complex challenges.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead Change and Transformation initiatives.
7. Strong analytical skills, with experience in Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) and Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA).
8. Business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to business needs.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are highly desirable.
3. Experience with IT Governance, Risk, and Control frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST is a plus.
