Role Purpose:
The Danone Planning team is about to enter into a change project period as we move to a new way of working and responsibilities split between local, global and factory planning teams. We’re looking for another Senior Supply Planner to join our UKIE team to support us to do this, so we are set up for success in delivering this change whilst simultaneously delivering YoY volume growth, and continued excellent results across all of our KPIs.
Key Activities:
* Responsible for achieving target customer service levels while optimizing the trade-offs between production capacity constraints, inventory levels and waste, ensuring lowest total cost for the organisation.
* Manage stock and to targeted inventory levels across UKIE, whilst monitoring shelf life challenges, for total portfolio of around 100 products.
* Provide regular and timely daily supply outlooks and communicate out of stocks to relevant stakeholders with clear commentary around root cause and mitigating actions.
* Take the lead to proactively mitigate supply issues on the short, medium and long term horizons.
* Supply planning lead in any projects e.g. NPD, network design, portfolio management.
This is a fixed-term contract until the end of December 2025.
About you
We would like you to demonstrate the following key skills:
* Strong data analysis skills with the ability to produce, interpret and communicate conclusions from data.
* Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders and across functions.
* Supply chain / Supply Planning functional experience is preferred, particularly with volatile product planning experience.
* Ability to use planning systems (e.g. SAP/APO).
* Exceptional Excel skills, ideally with some knowledge of PowerBI.
* Highly agile, with the ability to prioritise workload and respond to an ever-changing environment.
